Coordinate and craft e-marketing materials, manage content of marketing channels and manage development and creation of all sales collateral. This position is responsible for supporting the business lines in the Sales Division in order to allow for increased efficiency and the ability to maximize revenue opportunities. The Sales Assistant works with the Sales Department business owners and reports to the Director of Sales and Business Partnerships, in the Sales Division.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

General Sales/Marketing

  • Coordinate, write and submit all e-marketing campaigns for sales departments
  • Manage content of marketing channels including website and third party channels
  • Manage development and creation of all sales collateral and prepare and manage sales marketing calendar
  • Develop and send surveys for all sales products
  • Provide administrative support to Director of Sales
  • Prepare sales reports in Salesforce and Galaxy PMS
  • Develop reports to track success of marketing campaigns and surveys
  • Research new sales channels and conduct regular benchmarking for sales products
  • Monitor Sales phone lines, email and Salesforce leads
  • Create client files in Salesforce
  • Assist with special projects for Director of Sales
  • Review and approve all calendar items and requests as related to special events, and the Academy public floor
  • Maintain the Special Events Calendars and prepare monthly calendar of events
  • Assist with lead generation and respond to leads as required
  • Follow all Academy safety regulations
  • Other duties as assigned

QUALIFICATIONS:
To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required or preferred.

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE:
A qualified candidate will possess a combination of the following education and/or equivalent experience:

  • Bachelor's degree and/or related training preferred
  • At least two (2) years of progressively responsible experience in a sales assistant or coordinator role ·      Experience working in a fast paced sales environment is preferred

 KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITIES:

  • Proficiency in Salesforce, Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Google Suite capabilities required
  • Excellent organizational skills with great attention to detail
  • Professional demeanor and demonstrated ability to exercise sound judgment and discretion
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Ability to problem solve quickly, troubleshoot, and work under pressure in a fast-paced environment
  • Self-motivated and able to work independently without supervision
  • Able to manage multiple projects with variable timelines effectively
  • Able to relate to diverse groups of people 

LANGUAGE SKILLS:
Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.  Ability to write routine reports and correspondence.  Ability to speak effectively before groups or individuals. Bilingual (spoken and/or written) in Spanish, Cantonese, Mandarin, or other non-English language preferred.
